Legal Assistant (VA)
In this role you will provide support to a lawyer or a law firm team, assisting them with a range of tasks:

Your social media assistant will help you with a number of tasks to release your time so that you can focus on more important things. S/he will be college-educated, fluent in English, hard-working, and will help you:
- Doing legal research for discovery
- Doing legal writing (motions, documents)
- Answering and screening emails and calls
- Entering, screening, and processing data
- Preparing and editing legal documents
- Scheduling hearings and meetings
- Supporting client billing and payments
- Preparing and editing website content
- Managing business social media accounts
- Creating task boards and project schedules
- Maintaining customer files and documents
Qualification & Experience Requirements
- Fluent in English, written and oral
- Experience managing business correspondence in English
- Experience supporting lawyers, paralegals, or law firms 3+ years
- Experience in legal research and legal writing (family law)
- Experience using legal software like Clio, Lexis, Westlaw, Casetext
- Experience of working in international teams (preferably with Americans)
- Advanced knowledge of MS Office applications
- Intermediate knowledge of social media management
- Excellent personal presentation and telephone manner
